In Kenya, community health volunteers used the Amplio Talking Book to improve access to quality health information and services for semi-nomadic pastoralists in Samburu and Turkana, doubling the number of ANC visits.

In 2017, UNICEF Rwanda conducted a six-month Talking Book pilot to improve health education and outreach for 50,000 Burundian refugees at Mahama Camp. The campaign focused on hygiene and sanitation.
ENGAGING MEN IN ANTENATAL CARE: A CASE STUDY
In 2019, UNICEF and Amplio partnered with Ghana Health Service on a Talking Book pilot project in Jirapa District. At sites where Talking Books were used, more men participated in child wellness clinics and ANC visits.
